Cherry Jones & Ralph Fiennes to Headline Faith Healer on B'way in Spring
A production of Brian Friel's Faith Healer will play at the Booth Theatre in the spring. Cherry Jones who is still currently starring in Doubt, Ralph Fiennes and Ian McDiarmid are expected to star, according to Variety.
Faith Healer is composed of four monologues. They center on a traveling healer Fiennes, his wife Jones and his manager McDiarmid.
The play previously ran on Broadway in 1979 with Donal Donnelly, Clarissa Kaye and James Mason. That production lasted for 20 regular performances. The Roundabout Theater Company has more than once announced it would present a revival of Faith Healer, but no production materialized.
